CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida (AP) -- NASA Administrator Michael Griffin has accepted an invitation to visit China to start talks on possibly cooperating with the Chinese in some areas of space. Posted by MinutiaeMan (Member # 444) on :
Hey, that fits nicely with the United States gradually turning into a fascist country which would be happy to partner with China in founding a new Axis er, that is, Alliance and settling the galaxy.

Now now...the US is not leaning towards fascism.
It's only our elected officials, religous leaders, dozens of radio talk-shows, the C.I.A., Department of Homeland Security, the E.P.A, newspapers, oil companies, the Supreme Court and one (supposedly unbiased) news network that think that way.
See? Everything's fine.
Meanwhile, in Miami, (former VP hopeful) John Edwards is showing his support for some janitors working at University of Miami to get a raise and full health benifits, even though they knew they had none when they took the jobs.
Because there's nothing else he could be calling the public's attention to in our well-run country just now. No issue could be as imporntant as the financial security of twenty two ....janitors. Yeah.
Fuck. I mostly hate the Republicans, but it's the Democrats I want to shake the shit out of! Posted by Grokca (Member # 722) on :

Fun connections aside, this is more of a nonstory, isn't it? "Invited" to "start talks" about a "possibility?"

Hey, that kind of language worked on the native americans for a long time before, you know....we killed most of them.
