Russian solves historic math problem, shuns prize

I thought at first he showed that time does INDEED equal money, but no. Something about Poincare & topology. I'm no mathmagician.

And this...well, I found a link to it on the State College Craigslist. I...uh...huh. WHAT??

The real "huh" tidbit here is that his proof (of the geometrization conjecture, from which Poincare's conjecture follows) is actually three years old.

But the event to give the award only happens every four years.

I know. It's just that the news is presented as if Perelman delivered his proof yesterday.

And more! Oh, those wacky Indians!

A new restaurant in India's financial hub, named after Adolf Hitler and promoted with posters showing the German leader and Nazi swastikas, has infuriated the country's small Jewish community.

Compared to when the problem was created, he did.

Well, I was going to search the net for diphallic porn, but then I remembered I've already seen some. Bloody internet. "When Alexander saw the breadth of his domain, he wept, for there were no more worlds to conquer." The benefits of a classical education. . .

Woman goes on trial for polygamy
Defense says she's a serial monogamist

She's not even pretty.

I wonder what Tom Cruise would say. It might make him want to sing a song.

"But defense lawyer Robert McClellan is expected to argue that, because his client was already married to Len Battaglia when she married McConnell, her marriage to McConnell was invalid."

Her defense against polygamy is... polygamy?

Who would see it coming?

Shik, you're single-handedly going to get Flare banned from all workplaces.

Defeating his own agenda for Flare.

Why, because polygamy is "bad?"

Dude, nothing here comes even close to naughty. Not even that idiotic girl's site.

Not that one specifically, but most of the stuff you link to is not exactly safe for work viewing. That and the language you use quite often in your posts and signature.

I hardly think any wrok server is going to censor the word "FUCK." Otherwise, there'd be no intraoffice emails.

Rofflewaffles@Shik. In all seriousness, I think BJ's overreacting. I'm on a baptist university network, and even that won't censor fuck, shit, damn, cock, even "She fucked his shitty damn cock"! ...hehehe...its funny to be being so vulgar on Flare. Heheheheh.

"Rofflewaffles..."

Now, that isn't safe for any viewing...

Well, it *was* intended to be a joke....

I remain puzzled by my work's continued failure to block Flare. It was for a while when they first started cracking down on internet access, but then all of a sudden it wasn't anymore, and persists in remaining so. Of course, the Firewall is maintained by an office at the other end of the country, and you can all imagine how well I get on with them, so I doubt it's left open as a favour to me, linchpin of their IT strategy that I am.

When I'm the Big Boss someday, I'm going to decree that employees can do whatever the hell they want all day, but if they don't finish their projects by deadline three times in a row its AUTOMATIC DISMISAL HAHAAHHAHAAHHA
