Europe's first spacecraft to the moon ended its three-year mission Sunday by crashing into the lunar surface in a volcanic plane called the Lake of Excellence, to a round of applause in the mission control room in Germany. Posted by Jason Abbadon (Member # 882) on :
Is there somewhere the public can view the photos the probe took? It'd be great if they got some Sea Of tranquility shots on flyby- shut all the conspiracy nuts up.

If the conspiracy nuts think the US didn't land on the moon, why would they believe Europe did?

Because Europe crashed rather than landed?

Well, there is that. The whole conspiracy aspect is usually dependeant on the event having taken place a long time ago and facts having become less clear (or events not easily reproduced). Theres already some nuts saying the world trade centers were destroyed by explosives planted by the US government (like that would go unnoticed) and that terrorists were not involved...

I'd like to see them explain away the fucking PLANES that crashed into the towers...
Holograms?
Mass Hallucination?

I think the idea is that the planes were helped along by pre-planted explosives.
But I don't pay that much attention.

The planes were CGIed in to the videos, while the populace that thought they had seen the planes were given drugs and hypnotized in to believing that they had seen it.
Also, no one was really killed in the towers, all people were whisked away to government labs to use as lab rats.
