For those who have nothing better to do than to build stuff like this.

Hey, some guy surely said a few thousand years ago after reading Genesis 6:1415,* before the ink was even dry on Moses original papyrus, I have 300 cubits of space behind the manger, and theres lots of gopher wood around. I can build an ark just like Noahs! Theologians have struggled ever since with the Genesis floods meaning in terms of mans relationship to God and vice versa, but some people, well, theyre all about the boat.

Here are the spiritual descendants of that guymen whove decided that the important part of any story isnt what the hero does, but what he drives. Its the sort of thing that invariably starts with a childhood immersed in some aspect of popular culture that then metastasizes into an adult obsession. For Star Trek fans, this dementia results in the wearing of pointy ears at conventions and the memorizing of Shakespeares sonnets in Klingon. But even if the starship Enterprise were duplicable, it wouldnt fit in most garages.

Hey, I don't wear pointy ears or speak Klingon! But I do build replicas of the Enterprise, both physical and virtual. I'm with them, though - I'm all about the boat, too.

Noah was an asshole.

No Knight Rider? Pfft.

The inherent problem with the Mad Max car is that it's CLEAN. I didn't recognise it with out a layer of dust and biker blood encrusted on the tyres.

And yes, I'm surprised a KITT wasn't there, that tends to be one of the more popular choices.

What about the Gadgetmobile?

And where's the Mach 5?

The Batmobile is pretty darn cool though, you have to admit.

That would be here.

I'd rather see the 1989 Batmobile than the TV version. Oh, and what about the Monkeemobile? Or Herbie? The A-Team van? [Big Grin]

Those would be awesome to see!

Neither of those are particularly hard to pull off. They're basically stock with a distinctive paint job.

I had Herbie in my back yard when I was a young child. No joke.

One of my friends has an A-Team van, but it's got ugly '70s cream, brown and blue paint.

Getting a little off topic here, but one thing I'd love to see is the protagonists motorcycle from the old Full Throttle game. That bike was hot.

There's a very filthy joke in there somewhere.

If you're not maladjusted enough to figure it out on your own, then it's best that you not know at all.
