Just in case anyone misses my witty repartee, hilarious verbal antics, and comforting presence over the next few days, I'm moving into my own apartment (as in NO ROOMMATES! I'm ecstatic about that!) and won't have internet until Monday or Tuesday. *flips switch from Irreverent to Maudlin* I know, nobody cares.

Well, happy house warming, and remember to pack the toilet paper last, and open it first. [Big Grin]
Are you in the same area of where ever you live?

We do, we care you are cluttering up our always on track forum with such posts and threads.

We do, we care that we will only be left with our sidekick Kick Me to abuse.

We do, well, we don't, you are right.

[Wink]

Sean, how would one move to an apartment if to an area they don't live, for, when they move there they do tend to live there.

Maybe it's me.

Has anyone ever moved to an area and not lived there?

Ohhh the web-addicted is me, hijacking my parents' computer to check email and things before I go to be severed from the Spice - I mean the Net.

I think Sean meant, am I going to move to a place located in an area other than that in which I have up until now been living [Smile] The answer is, "Next town over."

So ciao until Monday, then...

I nearly moved to Doncaster once and it didn't look like anyone lived there at all. Yorkshire can be like that.

Dan, yes, but you ruin the ruffling of feathers, dang addicts anyway.

Rev, I've heard that, you would have been a pioneer, being the first and all. The signs were put up by Vandals if I remember. Now, I just need a clue as to where I am talking about.....

Sean, remember to take everything seriously, errr, not seriously, or you'll end up with high blood pressure and all that crap. Who needs it? Either which.

If you want to live on the outer edge tell everyone the Defiant is 160m in length, and swear by it.

Dan:

I lived with a roomate for two years and couldn't stand it! Living by yourself is great ...

... except you've got no one to blame if your place is a mess ... [Wink]

See Sean, Shik caught that out of all my rambling on.

You can't mix metric & Imperial.

Posted by Daniel Butler (Member # 1689) on :

You can if you're British and old enough that you never got used to metric; my grandparents do it all the time ;P Miles for long distance, meters for short...it amuses me.

Oh, yeah, so I'm back online now. Comcast dicked up somewhere; the technician told me all 3,500 modems currently in service in this town are getting 30mbps down and 10mpbs up and I checked and it's true. It won't last, but it'll be fun while it does.

"30mbps down and 10mpbs up"

Is this good? SO, how's the new home?

Remember not to have a real fire in the living room for your house warming party.

Yeah, I got comcasted to, and already had problems. I hated them when I had them in NE MI, and I hate them now.

Sean: Does downloading at 3 megabytes per second sound good to you?? [Razz]

Ritten: Bastards throttle BitTorrent traffic, supposedly. *checks "random ports" in deluge*

Yes Dan, it does. If only my computer had more than 500 mb of memory, it would come in handy. I have verizon dsl, and my internet normally runs at 100.0mbps. I guess that is pretty good.

Indefinite amount of time shall I be absent except sporadically when using someone else's PC; either my video card or motherboard is fried. Yay.
