Are they?
*giggles* Not really a D&D Halfling topic (as much as hin are dear to my heart) but that's the 1st thing i thought about the girl when i saw her babble (and i've met a few halflings who babble better than Millia in her day...)

They're complaining about having to share a bed? Not something two women have seemed concerned about in my experience. It's always the guys who are like WTF GHEY ILL SLEEP IN THE BATHTUB.
Aside: Bathtub. Why the hell not the floor? It's always the bathtub and I don't understand why.
So halflings like pancakes. I wonder if that line was inspired by Donkey from Shrek? And in the mornin', I'm makin' waffles!

Or they're complaining about the size of the bed.
Aside: When given the choice of bathtub or floor I opted to sleep in my car. Was more comfy except for the air-raid/tornado siren/whatever that kept blaring.

I thought maybe it was that, but it doesn't seem to be so small to me. There are two pillows on it side-by-side at least so it's got to be a queen at least...or they're couch pillows...
Aside: Well sure. Why would anyone sleep in a bathtub? It completely befuddles me. It's metal, it's cold, it's probably wet, and it's far too small.

Most people who sleep in a bathtub are already too drunk to care if it's cold and metallic or possibly filled with water.

I once attempted to sleep in a bathtub. Wasn't a good night.
