Haha, aw man, I had a lost dog too and it sucked when he ran away. I'd feel soo relieved it he showed up later. The girl must be happy.

My dog ran away and died. It was winter and very cold. The cops found her the next day (yes, police look for lost dogs out in the boonies...) with some local kids a few miles away seizing her little doggie life force out. The kids were trying to warm her up but she died at the vet's.
So now that I've brought the thread down to a lowwww note......the Post??

I remember when i was stationed in Jacksonville, Fl, living across the railroad tracks from the base along US17, the 3 or so days my, and my roomate's dogs when lost. they got into the back roads and forest of Dewey 10 year Homes (now a partially cleared park and a Wallmart). Tazz, a mutt and Decko, a Belgiun Turv, got out of the fencing after Tazz made the climb, Decko following and they spent the weekend getting dirty, terroring the armadillo's and generally having a good time. Rob and me were besides ourselves when we heard Tazz's howls in the late even of Day 3 of Jaxtrip...
fucking dogs. Really glad that girl found hers. Gives me hope that god is still at the wheel occationally...
