I found this poll today on the BBC, asking who is Britains greatest/worst/somewhere inbetween post-war PM.
The site asks you to rank them in order - which might take a while. What does anyone else think?

Brown isn't bad, he's just a non-entity. I don't think anyone I've spoken to over here ever believed he'd make a good leader.
As for that list, I don't have a clue who half of them are (being a child of the 80's) so I can't say, though I gather from my old man the last Labour PM prior to Blair was a useless twat too. To my mind, the best PM in my own living memory is Major, boring git though he was, he always struck me as freakishly honest for a politician.
Of course if that survey included PM's prior to WWII, I rather suspect Neville would be right at the bottom. Winston will of course be number one, regardless.

No deal. Brown may be a twat, but he's no puppet.

Rather, I think he prefered it when he was puppet master, pulling the strings from behind and ruining the economy
