His life may have been cut short, but at least it was a full life. Pancreatic cancer is very aggressive and one of the worst ones to get.
I knew a girl in college that was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and died less than two years later, not even 20 years old. She did try to make the most of the time she had left by withdrawing from school and getting married.

Seemed a genuinely good guy and a real fighter- deciding to keep acting and making public appearances despite what was obviously an impossibly trying time.
I dont think I ever heard him say a bad word about anyone- plus he had a great interview on the pranks they played during Red Dawn's shooting.
