In French, 'Potato' is 'pomme de terre'. Meaning 'Apple of the earth.' Since the earth is brown, and potatoes are brown, I can guess that the apple overlords are perpetrating the potatoes to pose as anti-black spokespeople, while the apples stay content owning all of the banks, and hollywood.

Honestly, these people are more racist than the things they're complaining about. They think (as an example, in this case) that, because a non-black person designed the thing, it must be racist. It'd be absolutely hilarious if they complained, and then found out that the potato statue had been created by a black person...
