Oh. My. God.An orgasm drug? I mean...good lord! Can you imagine it? "Ive talked before about the clinical success of the drug MDMA in counseling couples. You take two people who arent talking, put them in a room and give them MDMA and theyll act like theyve just met and fall in love. The drug triggers positive emotions. Unfortunately, MDMA has been banned by the government because of abuse on the street, but it could have a legitimate use in clinical settings." Abuse? What an understatement! I mean, can you imagine the chaos such a thing would cause? Why hello, Ms. Hewitt. Aspirin? The mind boggles. ------------------ "We kid around a lot about people who are cyclopses, but seriously; if you're a mythic figure you've got challenges that no one should have to deal with." -- John Flansburgh

MDMA abuse? I knew people who were (Grateful) Deadheads----MDMA, or Ecstacy, or X, became a part of the culture. You could use it for barter at concerts. Know those Budweiser commercials with the guy saying "I love you man?" A former room mate came back in the wee hours of the morning after a 80's Dead show and a little dose of X...and felt the need to wake me up and tell me how great our friendship was, blah blah blah. I knew it was the drugs talking, thanked him for his input, and went back to sleep. PS: considering the continuing widespread criminal use of the "date-rape drug" ---and its dangerous side-effects on unsuspecting recipients--- an untested "orgasm drug" would almost certainly be abused in short order. (Viagra comes to mind, people taking extra doses, slipping it to people without their knowing, not reading the instructions...)

I've tried it. *shudders*... It makes you very wierd, and yes, "Highly Abused" has to be an understatment. Where I go to school, you can get a hit of E for like... 7 dollars or so. (I actually got mine for free, my "friend" hooked me up). Of course, this isn't as much of a crime problem on an all-girl's campus, but I can imagine the havoc it can wreak in society. I personally don't reccomend it for anything, even patching up relationships, and am darned happy that I don't do that stuff anymore.------------------ I'm you're only friend, I'm not your only friend, but I'm a little glowing friend, but really i'm not actually a friend, but I am.

An orgasm drug, wow! It's amazing that these scientists have the time to create these things while problems like the AIDS virus and cancer are still around. But then again, the scientists who may have created these "wonder drugs" may not look like models in a Guess or Tommy Hilfigger ad...------------------ "Its origin and purpose, still a total mystery." -Dedication Plaque quote from the U.S.S. Actually, an orgasm drug might prove to be a pretty good vaccine against AIDS. Think about it.As for cancer, well...it certainly couldn't hurt. ------------------ "We kid around a lot about people who are cyclopses, but seriously; if you're a mythic figure you've got challenges that no one should have to deal with." -- John Flansburgh
