Which does the greater damage, betrayal of the heart or betrayal of the mind?
Perhaps later on, I'll reveal the basis behind this one. In the meantime, discuss.

"How do you define fool?"
"I don't attempt it. I wait for demonstrations. They inevitably surpass my imagination."
- CJ Cherryh, Invader
heart/soul, mind, and body are all in a deep [loving] relationship, to miss one isn't a good relationship anyway....

"...and I remain on the far side of crazy, I remain the mortal enemy of man, no hundred dollar cure will save me..." WoV
Eventually I'll explain. But for now...I want untainted answers.

This is the reason I asked. Heartbreak is one thing...but betrayal or denial of trust... :::shakes head::: I don't know anymore.
Yeah.

'"You're a nice guy....kind of silly....and a bit creepy..."
"'Creepy?'"
"Yeah...you scare me sometimes...because I can't give you wnat you want."
I smiled in amazment and shook my head.'
This may be a shock to you, but the sort of people who tell other people that they've put contract killers onto them, well, they do tend to be labelled as "creepy" and "scary". Strange that.

I didn't put out hits. People...offered. I'd never. it'd be too obvious. And spiteful.
No matter. I'm getting better now.

"I think this reason why girls don't do well on multiple choice tests goes all the way back to the Bible, all the way back to Genesis, Adam and Eve. God said, 'All right, Eve, multiple choice or multiple orgasms, what's it going to be?' We all know what was chosen" - Rush Limbaugh, Feb. 23, 1994.
I couldn't tell how serious you were when you asked her to marry you in that chatting session, but she might've gotten a tad scared there, even if you were joking.
Maybe then she realized she must withdraw her commitment to you and place it in M instead. Maybe that's what you felt.
I know what it's like to wake up and find out you've been barking up the wrong tree. One lesson I've learned is that you must be totally earnest and rightforward with girls, or you might end up on the "friend"-train...

Don't kill me, I'm charming!
"I have friends who offered to kill you! I told them not to!"
"Oh. That's cool then. Fancy a sandwhich?"
Most people (especially people who aren't passengers of the mad-train), can't just casually brush-off having their friends know killers.

"It strikes me that there are enough episodes of the Simpsons that people could speak entirely in Simpsonese, using references from the show to explain or describe an endless series of situations. Nelson and Apu . . . at Tinagra.
But now Ive brought Star Trek into it again, havent I. Sorry."

Her roommate IMed me last night; odd that happened after I stopped thinking about it all. Answers were gained, theories were expounded upon, IF clauses were closed out. A good time was had by all.
You're all correct on most points in some respects, but I've not the time to handle all the dynamics here.
But...we're digressing. That situation is simply the catalyst for me asking the question. Forget the events in my life that triggered it. I have my own reasons. I'm curious about the thoughts of my fellow geeks, married or single, attached to personages or not.
FLY, my pretties!! FLY!!
