The Raelians have surfaced again, this time to join a protest against the probable war in Iraq at a Federal office building in Los Angeles. Some of them then proceeded to remove their garments as part of the protest.
quote:
"Whenever everybody undresses, the ego goes away and then we can make decisions," said protester Nadine Gary. "Imagine President Bush nude addressing the state of the union. Imagine Saddam Hussein nude."
I'm sorry, but I didn't need that mental image!

Raelians = nutcases I can take, but People-who-remove-clothing = nutcases is a little much.

It'd be OK if these nutcases ate properly, and went to the gym, but it seems that's too much to ask.

Heartattacks among 10-year olds is very rare, you shouldn't have brought him up to become such a prude.

I'm pretty sure we could all stand to not see some big fat Doukobor (don't know if that's spelled right, someone keeps makin off with my dictionary) stripping down to protest the war. I swear they are the strangest people I've ever heard of. There's a colony of em somewhere in Saskatchewan I believe...
