I've been sick for the last week and basically confined to my sofa. I know way more about Charlie Sheen than I ever wanted to. I think around Friday I officially burned out. So I rewatched Firefly.

I see you overdosed on Charlie Sheen. My physician says you should only take Charlie Sheen in moderate doses, too much can lead to an overestimation of self-worth, psychotic rambling, and hypersexuality. [Wink]

That dude is one seriously messed up puppy. I blame half of it on the media. He obviously needs help but the media just keeps feeding into his delusion that this is cool.

The fact that he thinks he can get sober on his own is clear indication that he's in denial about his condition, though the removal of his sons seemed to have given him a brief reality check.

I think...we may be seeing someone that has truly blown a fuse.
I mean, some people that abuse drugs never really recover- even after getting sober.

I once knew a boy that had used expired perscription drugs with booze- he became irrational, paranoid and delusional- a complete personality shift: his falily has to have him comitted.

It's possible that we're seeing a celebrity that has truly damaged himself....and that would be a prolonged and nasty thing to see- the media would stay all over it and Sheen's family would have to seek a forcible commitial.
