If you guess them all correct, you when a free imaginary duckling! That's right! The first three are easy, the second three are medium, and the last three are hard ones. Each clips can last from 6 to 13 seconds.http://members.home.net/ufo-geek/number1E.mp3 http://members.home.net/ufo-geek/number2E.mp3 http://members.home.net/ufo-geek/number3E.mp3 http://members.home.net/ufo-geek/number1M.mp3 http://members.home.net/ufo-geek/number2M.mp3 http://members.home.net/ufo-geek/number3M.mp3 http://members.home.net/ufo-geek/number1H.mp3 http://members.home.net/ufo-geek/number2H.mp3 http://members.home.net/ufo-geek/number3H.mp3 good luck.

The easies: 1) Goo Goo Dolls - Iris 2) Robbie Williams - Millennium (which, of course, is sampled from that song from that Bond movie. 3) U2 - In God's Country (haven't listened to Joshua Tree for a while, but I'm pretty sure that's it. Now watch me become mortally embarassed when it's actually the intro to something by the Baha Men)The mediums: 1)Tip of the tongue. That's what they all say. 2)Sounds disturbingly close to my techno-remix of Brian Kennedy, but it of course isn't, but that would be impossible, and besides, this song is close but not exactly the same. 3)The Proclaimers - I'm Gonna Be (that has to be one of the most recognizable guitar intro ever, how the feck is this meant to be "medium"? ) The hards all strike me as so uber-obscure that the only person who has a hope in hell of knowing them is Simon, except he won't like the genres, so we won't ever find out.

Tom got all three of the easy ones. The song you refered to as the song that Millennium was based on was called You Only Live Twice. It was the theme song for the James Bond movie of the same name. For all of you who haven't read my bio, I love James bond as much as I love Sci-fi.As for your sad attempt to guess what the mediums were, you didn't get any of them correct. Not even the third one. Sorry.

Mibbers, that's "I'm Gonna Be." It is. It simply cannot be anything else. It's about walking 500 miles. And 500 more. It's by two Scottish twin-type goofball one-hit-wonder sorts. It's a great song to flail about to while drunk. I'm right. Ha.

I think The_Tom's right about Medium #3. It definitely sounds like the intro riff to the "I Would Walk 500 Miles" songs by The Proclaimers (or is it Pretenders?).Hard #2 is very very very familiar to me. I cannot place it yet, but I think it is the theme song to a television series that I only watched on an infrequent and irregular basis. Hmmm...

H1: "Ride Forever", Paul Gross H2: "due South", Jay SemkoI didn't know you liked due South, MIB. H3, however, eludes me. It's nothing from either dS soundtrack. Sounds like something out of one of those video games, like Myst, or The Seventh Guest... Sadly enough, I don't know any of the rest.

#3-H is Sting ... "A Brand New Day"Sadly enough, the two remaining mediums elude me. But this as hard ... ? C'mon, it's Sting. Shame to all the Brits who participated. Well, really, only Tom. But he's Canadian ... close enough. [ November 27, 2001: Message edited by: Malnurtured Snay ]

Good work Jeff. Only the 2 mediums are left. Hmmm. I should have switched around my choices of what should be considered medium and what should be considered hard.
