Series Idea
Set after Voyager's return. A Ship:-the USS Thunderstone:-A Galaxy class is equipped with Quamtum Slipstream drive is sent to explore galaxies beyond our own. It's first destination is the Andromeda Galaxy where we run into the Kelvins who are set to fly to our galaxy and invade the Federation. They attack the ship and disable her quantum slipstream drive. The ship engages her warp drive which at the speed there going will take them 500 years to return to Federation Space. This will be different to Voyager as the Kelvins will be regular bad-guys as the ship has 100,000 light years of Andromeda galaxy to fly through before getting to the galactic void.

So basically there is no chance in Hell that they'll ever get home.

Suffice it to say we'll need some T and F to give you a fair response... I need a drink.

And someone call Ultra Magnus, see if he's allright.

The "Lost" ship concept has been done. To death.
The Kelvans (with an "A"), although somewhat interesting, have already been dealt with. How to defeat them, I mean.

One should never reply to one's own idea with 'great idea!' It makes one look buffoonish.

Yes, and editing's always an option as well.

Crossover shows like that (especially with a done to death plot) will sink faster than Titanic with Marlon Brandon on it.

IMHO, in a universe where Voyager can build warp cores and entire Delta Flyers from SCRATCH, a Starship not being able to repair its own advanced drive, the specs of which are undoubtedly stored in the computer and known to the chief engineer and his/her crew, is totally ludicrous.

C'mon, Ultra, no newbie would know enough to make bold and underline and such.

Other than that, your fanboy characterization is superior.
