At least I think so. I think it's good that a fresh time-era is being looked at. I don't think I really wanted another series taking off from 2377. There's enough god-awful fan-fiction stories you can read if you want to stay in your little bubble. (Is it a requirement of the Star Trek Fan Fiction Guild, if such a thing exists, that all authors must posess a third grade level education and the creativity of a dead mule? All these 'Big Ship, Little Dick guys who put themselves as Captain, who conveniently have all the best attributes of each Captain of the series, Save Jackson Archer, of course, and manage to be able to sleep with each and every female member of the crew.) PS - Don't compare this to Andromeda. As far as I can tell, this is sorta fresh, and doesn't have many, if at all, sterotypical characters and hopefully won't have each and every episode based on a cliched story.
