Well, after a two-hour technical delay Bryan Fuller showed up for the chat (Michael Taylor couldn't make it). Unfortunately the turnout was pretty low, but that meant we got some unmoderated time to ask Bryan a few questions.

Anyway, the important stuff:

-- Bryan confirmed that Ron Moore has joined the Voyager writing staff. However, Rene Echevarria is not joining the show. And contrary to initial reports, there has been no purge of the writing staff. According to Bryan, Nick Sagan left to spend more time on other projects outside of Trek.

As it stands, the season 6 writing staff will be: Braga, Moore, Joe Menosky, Bryan Fuller, and Michael Taylor.

-- The staff just finished the outline for the season premiere (part 2 of "Equinox") this afternoon. Bryan said it would be a "doosey" of an ep., including CGI aliens.

-- Ron Moore is currently developing a Klingon episode for Torres.

-- Bryan felt Tuvok and Neelix were the most difficult characters for the staff to come up with stories for. However, there are currently two episodes in development that may very well redefine each character. The Tuvok episode apparently revolves around challenging his perception of logic.

-- Do not expect multi-arc episodes akin to DS9. However, there will be another two-parter and possibly another tele-film.

-- As of right now, there are no plans to bring Voyager home.

Now this is good news. Thanks.

I must say, now that I think about it, I'm a little saddened that Echevarria won't be coming over. I've always enjoyed his episodes.
