Maybe I've missed it, but no one seems to have commented on the series 5 rumor about the U.S.S. Excellent. To me it sounded like an interesting story, but I don't see how they could make a series out of it - more like a mini series or something.

That rumor is already dying. The Excelent rumor was probably based on the B5 spinoff Crusade, because the Excelent was supposed to be a 1+ kilometer ship.

Not to mention that Excellent is a slightly worse name then USS Big Shippy Thing In Space.

I heard the whole thing died.. Paramount shot that idea down, but has agreed on another concept.. what it is, I don't know yet.
