Overall, a pretty good issue. I'm surprised I got it this early, though. I didn't think it would be out until the 8th. Anyway, for those interested in buying it, here's what to look forward to.

1. Andre Bormanis and Star Trek medical technology
2. Interview with James Doohan
3. Matt Jefferies and designing the inside of the 1701
4. Martha Hackett (Seska) interview
5. Briefing on Nebula-class vessels
- General text information
- A cut away of the Nebula USS Prometheus
bridge - very nice!!
- Blueprints with callouts
6. Designing the Bajoran solar sail vessel
7. In companion with the love-interest column, a new
TOS column dealing with how many red shirts
actually died on TOS. An interesting read.
8. Briefing on Borg vessels
- General overview of all ships seen
- 411 on cube interior
- regeneration alcove, with rendering
- maturation chamber, with rendering
- Borg Queen's ship, with renderings
- Borg sphere, simply pictures - rendering
on how it escapes from cube
- Probe (from Dark Frontier) - renderings
9. TNG writer/producer Herb Wright
10. Briefing on the Phoenix warp ship
- Bio on Zefram Cochrane
- Bio on Lily Sloane
- Information on Phoenix itself
- Cutaway of Phoenix cockpit
- rendering of separation from Titan V
11. Scenic Artist Anthony Fredrickson
12. Star Trek Novels
13. How they did the morph affect for Odo and
changelings
14. Briefing on the Bajorans
- Bajoran history
- Bajoran jewelry
- religion
- Gratitude Festival
15. Short article about Star Trek visual effects

Overall, I think a good issue. The Nebula-class bridge cutaway and Borg ship information is wonderful. Wish they had had information on Bajoran ships as well, but one can live without it for now, and it will probably be looked at later. I'd give the issue an 8 out of 10.

Next Issue (#12):

- Interview with Andrew Robinson (Garak)
- Creating the bat'leth weapon
- Matt Jefferies and designing shuttles for the 1701
- Briefing: Klingon Vessels
+ Ship comparison
+ Vor'Cha class blueprints
+ Imperial Klingon Defense Force
- Briefing: Stellar Phenomena
+ Wormholes
+ the Badlands
+ The Omega Molecule
+ Black holes
+ Nexus
- Briefing: USS Enterprise, NCC-1701-A
+ Bridge
+ Blueprints
+ Shuttlebay

Well, I could see how high a resolution my scanner can scan at, if I ever get issue #11..

I was surprised too on how early it came out.

I planned on scanning them anyway so I'll send them to you as soon as I finish.

Nevermind, I don't have enough server space to upload them all so someone else will need to upload them.

Seeing as how my scanner is eternally on the fritz, I may need to borrow those Borg pics...

Is it already in stores, or do you subscribe.

I got it from a store - grocery store, actually. Can you imagine that - a grocery store has a Star Trek magazine before a book store. Huh!

To me, its more worth it to just buy the several issues I really, really want than spend almost one hundred dollars for a year's subscription.

That issue is awesome. I would scan it but I don't have it yet. I have a subscription so I couldn't buy the one that I saw at Barnes & Nobel. I wan't those borg renderings and Nebula class stuff very badly.

I usually get my issues at CO-OP because we're members there and we get a discount on all purchases, which is good because it brings the price down from $13.99 (taxes included) to $12.99 or so... (it's $11.99 +tax in Canada ).
