Well, go to that link to read a new article about the writer for the new TNG movie... He is a TREK FAN! He says he is really going to keep the continuity! YES! He wants to see races that we haven't really seen outside of TOS... hmmmmm Tholians? Gorn? Tellerites? Andorians!?!

Well, I reckon a nice NEW big scene of the Federation council is in order... I have mentioned this before...

1. Looking like the UN room - nice and big and circular and plush... very plush - blues and golds of the Federation...

2. All the races we have seen.

3. It can not look as CRAPPY as the Senate room in The Phantom Menace... that was just so artificial, this has to look cosy and together...

4. We could have all these old races, Zackdorn, Tellarites, Klaestron... etc.

5. It'd allow Worf and Martok back well at least Worf - as Ambassador.

6. Lwoxana!?!

7. Kira!!!!!! She could be leading the Bajoran delegation.

8. Spock?

9. Sela?

And Kira wouldn't be there. She's in charge of DS9. She's not an ambassador.

I hope they don't go overboard on the slapstick humour this time, like they did in Insurrection (cf. Data's arse turning into an inflatable dinghy). I like the subtle humour that we see in the tv series, such as the computer cutting Data short when he goes into one of his overlong explanations etc, but the overt humour in Insurrection was in places embarrassing.
