Again, post your sources, so we can shred them. Bajor CAN NOT BE that far from Klingon space. Watch "House of Quark". Gril'ka sent a ship to go pick up Rom on the station (which is in the Bajor system), and he got to the Klingon homeworld inside of two days. Earth can't be that far from the Romulan neutral zone. The E-E made the trip in hours in "First Contact". ------------------ Disclaimer: "All references to vices and of the supernatural contained in this game are for entertainment purposes only. _Over_The_Edge_ does not promote satanisim, belief in magic, drug use, violence, sexual deviation, body piercing, cynical attitudes toward the government, freedom of expression, or any other action or belief not condoned by the authorities." - `OverTheEdge'

It's "Romulus"! With a 'u'!Not to mention "Qo'noS". And does anyone really know if there's an apostrophe (and where it goes) in "Ch'in'to'ka'''''"? :-) ------------------ My new year's resolution is the same as last year's: 1024x768.

Yaeh! And since when have the distances and times taken to get places ever made sense? Not all that often. Sorry to be a wet blanket, but don't go looking for logic where there isn't any. Writers have to dramatise things, which involves bending the rules. You'll have seen the above statement regarding it taking 3 hours from the neutral zone to earth. Imagine this for First Contact: "Captain, the Borg have made an incursion into our space. The Fed Council sent the Enterprise here to guard the neutral zone, because the other 2000 vessels along the front just aren't good enough. However, we can intercept the cube in 5 weeks at maximum warp, assuming we don't get stopped by an un-explained anomaly on the way. In which case, we'll have to use some sort of TACHYON pulse (tachyons fix everything, don't ya know) to repel it. Then, you can make a silly log entry. After which we'll make the rest of the journey and try to negotiate with the Borg. Once we have waited for them to attack, we might fire back once, or twice with the phasers. Then you can say 'Make it so Will' and I'll order Mr Crusher to change heading so we run away. Whilst we run, we can use a tachyon pulse to disable the cube, and save the galaxy". -Will Riker said all that in one breath, btw-. Get my drift? ------------------ Re: Russia in WWII "Hey, we butchered Poles! Thats OK." - DT. [This message has been edited by Daryus Aden (edited February 03, 2001).]
