We all do.
But sadly, there is none.

Does he mean the DS9 Companion? Available just about anywhere they sell books?

No, I think he mean's the Reeves-Stephens' The Making of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

I love my copy--great book, although it's sorta funny read nowadays because it went to press before even The Jem'Hadar was aired, and therefore there isn't a peep about the Dominion in it. It instead devotes a decent portion to defending against the criticism (of that time) that Deep Space Nine was only about Bajoran political plots and boldly sitting still...

I found my copy at Goodwill for $1.00.

Wouldn't Amazon.com or Barnes & Noble (bn.com) have this title?

Lisa: "Don't you remember the story of Oedipus?"
Homer: "Maybe five dollars will refresh my memory."
Lisa (angrily): "Oedipus was the story of a man who kills his father and marries his mother!"
Homer: "Uggh! Who pays for that wedding?"

I've got a copy too. I sort of liked seeing some of the scripts. It's interesting to me to see how the scenes are written out and compare it to how they're aired.

The concept art is pretty cool too.

I occasionally see it in second-hand bookshops in Brighton. . . that's where I got my TNG Tech Manual, and The Making of ST:FC, which was only published in this country. Haven't felt the need to buy this DS9 book, although its content always looked interesting.

I have one.

And it is for sale, seeing how i'm not a Trek fan now. (After Voyager, would you be?)

$20.00. As is. (And it's practically new too)

E-mail me at [email protected].

I also have other trek tech stuff up for grabs.

I love the Making of DS9... its really a GREAT book...

There is some great artwork, and great interviews...

Most people didn't like - but I LOVED the first two seasons of DS9... they are VERY special. They were different, and moody and bold and clever and interesting and amazing!

That book encompasses the whole feeling of 'wonder' of not only DS9/Star Trek but the MAKING of an actual Star Trek episode... of which there is precious little information.

Homer: I'm gonna miss Springfield. This town's been awfully good to us.
Bart: No, it hasn't, Dad. That's why we're leaving.
Homer: Oh, yeah. [pokes his head out the window] So long, Stinktown!

I also liked the first couple seasons of DS9. I liked the whole political intrigue things. It required forethought and storylines that were set up and carried over. I thought it was great. If they could've tied it into the whole Emissary thing a little better it would have been superb.

8472, I have found it:
Here

It is a Dutch site, so I don't know if they can ship books to other countries (or how much it costs).

I've got on too. I never really read through it too much. But there were some cool pictures and such in there. It's a good buy for DS9 fans.
