Which is the episode in which the theory that much of the alpha quadrant species were seeded by one ancient species, mentioned? Or doesn’t it exist?

Simple yet effective

Damn, 6th season. I dont think that season has been shown in my lifetime here in Australia.
Posted by Malnurtured Snay (Member # 411) on :
Seriously ... ?
Freaky. Well, the 7th season was the one that was pretty awful (after the 1st and 2nd).
Posted by PsyLiam (Member # 73) on :
It also has "The Pegasus" and "Parallels" in though, which are both excellent. So, er, something.

...and Gambit, and Lower Decks, and Preemptive Strike, and All Good Things...

And "Masks" and that one where the Enterprise becomes alive ...

Play Star Trek: Hidden Evil. It really expands on "The Chase"

"And "Masks" and that one where the Enterprise becomes alive ..."
I'm sorry Jeff, but any minute now I'm expecting to hear "The Royale, Shades of Grey. Oh, and Superman IV. And the Worst Witch (starring Tim Curry). And WCW was much better than WWF. TAB is my favourite drink. And for dinner, I have shit in a roll."

So I don't think that TNG's 7th season was its best season. You act like I shoved a 2-liter bottle of coke up your rear.

Ive maxed out at a 1-liter and two ping pong balls (or a 24oz and 3 ping pongs).. not quite ready for 2L

*attempts to decide whether the anal sex jokes or Liam's cunning reference to The Worst Witch were funnier*
Posted by Siegfried (Member # 29) on :
I'd go with anal sex. Nothing says "loving" like a good anal sex joke.
Posted by Kosa (Member # 650) on :
Wow. Who new that such a simple topic would spiral into a series of anal sex jokes.
Posted by TSN (Member # 31) on :
And who would expect the phrase "anal sex joke" to show up in three consecutive posts?
Erm... Four.
Posted by PsyLiam (Member # 73) on :
Oh, hang on Jeff, you were saying that "Masks" and "Emergence" were bad?
That's okay then. I thought you were complimenting them. It's hard to judge a man's taste when he thinks that "Heart of Glory" is one of the top 5 Trek episodes ever. And when he enjoys anal sex given to him by Tim Curry.
Posted by Malnurtured Snay (Member # 411) on :
"Heart of Glory" wasn't in my top 5 list, but I thought it was a good episode. "Arsenal of Freedom" was in my 5 list.
Yes I thought Masks and Emergence were bad. Jesus, what'd you think I meant?
No, no ... I think anal sex administred by Tim Curry is fun when its done to someone aside for myself. Like, you.

Maybe I should have PM'd the name of the episode.
Posted by TSN (Member # 31) on :
I thought you were saying they were good, also, Jeff.
And "Masks" wasn't all that bad. At least it gave Spiner a chance to act non-Data for a while...

That's no excuse. "Brothers" gave him the same chance, and was far more watchable.
And this isn't getting to the root of Jeff's obsession with Tim Curry anyway.

Anal-sex.

I don't know how any of you could've thought I thought they were good episodes.
My original statement was that Season 7 was one of TNG's weaker seasons. The_Tom and Liam instantly posted episodes that backed up their belief that it was one of the stronger, and I posted episodes thast backed up mine.
Honestly. And I don't like Tim Curry -- besides, aren't you a member of Daryus' "Curry"-order, Liam?
Posted by PsyLiam (Member # 73) on :
I am a member of many things.
I don't know if season 7 is one of the stronger. When we finally got seasons 4 to 6 over here, Sky showed a new episode every Monday - Friday without a break, so those seasons tend to run into each other in my head. I'd have to have a look through to work out which seasons I thought were good.
Season 7 wasn't brilliant though, by any means. I do remember though buying one video before it was shown on TV, and I bought the tape with "Parallels" and "The Pegasus" on it. And thus, I was impressed.
