Yup. He's got the stripes of a Lieutenant J.G., which is pretty strange, since Uhura calls him an ensign.

Thank you very much. According to "The Making of Star Trek" there was no Lt. JG and Vice Admiral rank during TMP. Ensigns had a broken stripe. Now I have evidence for that. [Big Grin]
