1. I used 75000 ly rather than 70000 ly (this is distance Bajor-Caretaker). I think this has been established in the meantime.
2. The average speed: Because of Pathfinder, the average covered distance per year has to be changed. Warp 6.2 is 438c, so we have 438 ly/year instead of 1000 ly (in the first year 302 ly). I agree with TSN's and Krenim's theory that this does not apply to the large jumps because of the mentioned reasons.
3. The new course in YoH: I also agree with Omega that it would be possible to take another avg speed before 2374 (this would be warp 6.147 or 425c), however, I didn't used this way, but simply decreased the distance by 2190 ly (5x438 ly) at the said time (of course I didn't change the position). Another course (e.g. less curved) would immediately result in shorter distance, so this is also possible. (this also results in better fitting figures - see note on SD 51461.5)
4. The 2 additional years because of avoiding the Borg: I added 876 ly to the distance before the jump in DF, however, in exact calculations, we have to equally spread this distance over the 1 1/2 years since The Gift.
5. Contradictious statements in VC: I took 600 ly. This is the maximum distance within 30 sectors, because 20 ly is already the diameter (stated in the STE) and not the side length of the cube.
=Resulting distances to Earth=
Stardate 51461.5: 62176.46 ly (Borg correction factor and percentage of yearly average distance already taken into account). This fits with the figure in the ST S9 TM (62000 ly).
Stardate of Equinox: 31522.0 ly. I checked several possibilities with my Excel spreadsheet, but 35000 ly aren't simply possible (32700 at maximum, but then you have to ignore all covered average distances per year).
Stardate 53329 (VC): 30577.898 ly (Percentage of yearly average distance already taken into account)
This means at a course of 203.9 (according to map in ST S9 TM):
Still 4326.988 ly to Beta border.
This are 3000 ly more than in my last calculation (and than in Rick's statement), so I think they put in the warp 6.2 figure in order to push them back in the Delta quadrant.
(The whole table and a possibility to calculate the distance acc. to every stardate is avaiable as of tonight (CET) - you know there.)

Specifically, when Janeway says she's lost two years
avoiding the Borg, this could be two "good" years, given the multiple preceding jumps and shortcuts. And when the ship is 65,000 ly from home at the beginning of season five, and 60,000 ly at the end, the former are "bad" lightyears and the latter are "good" ones...
What this would lead to is getting more leeway in determining the milestones, while still pretending this is a "systematical" approach . The 35,000 ly in "Equinox" would DEFINITELY be "bad" lightyears for the long-suffering Ransom, making the calculated 31,000-32,700 ly figures a better match. OTOH, the three years of travel in "TVC" would probably also be "good" years to Janeway by this logic, which is not a good thing at all... We don't want 2,000-3,000 ly there, now do we?

You know, if the lot of us were stuck in the DQ, long ago we'd have made two big readouts: one right above the main viewer on the bridge and the other mounted on the wall in the mess hall. Every 10,000 ly we'd gather around the one in the mess hall and watch it change over. Cap'n Kathy may be able to fool them, but she wouldn't be able to fool us.

Command Paris: You misunderstood something. Indeed, Voyager has been pushed back deep into the Delta quadrant, so they have to travel still some years to reach the border, what they surely won't because there are interstellar wormholes, weird space catapults and subspace phenomenons everywhere. The idea is that they never arrive at the (on Voyager not existing) Beta quadrant, but come home right from the Delta quadrant.
Somebody asked for interactive programs on this matter: indeed, there is plenty of stuff in the Star Trek cartography on my homepage (find out the URL for yourself, I'm not allowed to SPAM, according to the master of this "little, pathetic" forum).

As for the website issue, the others are correct. If you wish to advertise your site, I would suggest doing so in your signature. Use Frank's signature above for an excellent example.
