Apparently the Borg will go back to their old ways and try and asimilate our little starship as it gets closer to Earth. Voyager will be DEAD lucky to escape the Borg this time.

He may be refering to "Q2", which is an upcoming episode of Voyager, the content of which should be self-evident. (Er, plus the Borg show up. But I have no idea what they show up to do. Eat pastries, for all I know.)

Pasties are irrelevant. Cornish ones are futile.

I prefer a pastrie before a pastie.
The only one I've tried had potato, swede and meat, all boiled to shit, in it. It was so bland I could've ran a mile for some salt and pepper. It was probably not a very good baker.

In other respects, I hope the season 7 borg will match their reputation.

Is Q2 going to be played by Corben Bernson again?

I thought Corben Bernson was a shit Q. The guy who played the suicidal Q in that Voyager ep was ok.

I think Mr Bernsen has changed a bit over the last fourteen years, he could be up to it...

"Q2" refers to Q's son, who will be played by John DeLancie's actual son. I think he's about nine or ten years old.

Which is worse: TNG's villian Q -or- VOY's Q?

I always liked Q on TNG more than Voyager. The Voy writers make him too friendly... it never really worked well me.

According to startrek.com Voyager will be attacked and severely disabled by a Borg Cube. The ship will then be boarded by hundreds Borg drones. Q's Son just sits by and lets this thing happen to Voyager. His Father is not pleased and alters events so that Voyager doesn't end up assimilated.

Yeah, none of those pesky dollar symbols in the way!

I think everyone prefers the TNG Q, he was just more charismatic, the rapport with Picard was great.

His banter with Picard was great, but his psuedo-attraction to Capt. Kate is an interesting angle. Better than his forced one-time relationship with Sisko.

Gurgeh: Actually I was referring to the rather happy and effortless plot, not the disposition of Darko's post. I've ceased to pay attention to that and have discovered that it saves a lot of time. Everybody happy!

A preteen Q?! How fatal. The simple fact that this kid is going through puberty is a dangerous possibility by iteself, much less a "Q" version of it. I suppose it may be called Quberty then, wouldn't it?

Spike: What's for dinner?
Jet: Bell Peppers and beef.
Spike: There ins't any beef in this. So you wouldn't exactly call it bell peppers and beef, now would you?
Jet: Yes, I would.
Spike: How is that?
Jet: Because we're poor.

I have to say I thought it was funny in the DS9 Q appearance when Q meets Kira... "Aren't we the feisty little go-getter" LOL!

Oh, yah. I actually liked the appearance in DS9, I just think if they had tried to do it on a regualar basis, they would have been fighting his relationship with Picard too much.

His thing with Janeway is a little more fresh.

Personally, this Q2 idea sounds a bit similar to the squire of gothos idea from the original star trek series.

Antag!

Quberty for Q jr.
Cuberty for Icheb.

I think Delancie on "Voyager" has been some of the better eps. His presence didn't help Andromeda much, but it wasn't his fault. He wasn't omnipotent, just very rich. A decent ep really, just a tired ending.
