I just got my official Dutch fanclub magazine and saw some very interesting information:

Just to be sure, some extra spoiler space...

Okay, that'll have to do.

Here goes:
In the magazine they have a contest. You can win a lot of Star Trek stuff by guessing how the Voyager series will end. The stuff is given by Paramount themselves (from their Dutch location).

The fanclub also have been granted permission from Paramount to give a hint (I'm giving the English translation of the quote here): "It is not going to end well for Captain Janeway."

Oh, I've believed that she'll bite it for awhile now. The whole series has touched on her obscession with getting home. The most heroic twist would be for her to sacrifice her life to get the crew home. They'll make it, she won't. They'd just better handle it well. It'd better be better than Kirk's death.

Just my opinion.

Sure, they got 4 eps left to film which means the final ep (which will presumably be a double - does that mean they have 4 hours left to do, or 4 eps which is actually 5 hours?) must be pretty much ready to go, and being prepped by whoever directs it. . . But all the same, when no-one is revealing how it ends yet, why would they go and hold a competition in Holland asking people to guess how it ends? That makes no sense to me.

That went out in flames. I learned to wait until something official is out. And this being from Paramount themselves, I thought that makes it pretty official.

And yes, we Dutch people are nuts Wooden shoes, little boys who save the county by putting their finger in a dyke. Hell, you are probably familiar with the term 'Double Dutch'...

Here come spoilers about something that's already been aired...

There was that recent episode w/ Chakotay jumping through time and all that, where the future Icheb and Naomi said that he and Janeway died something like seventeen years prior to their time. So, maybe those two will both die.

Hmmm. That's true. We never found out where Voyager was at that point in time. Maybe the ship had made it back to Earth and had been there for awhile.

No. Can't be. They were still wearing Voyager's uniforms. So unless the series ends with the ship still on its way...

Well that was a future where those different temporal fields still existed mapped out on the astrometrics screen. Since Chakotay prevented Voyager from being hit by that nebula thing that future has changed.

Right, I'm just saying that in the future they walked in on, Voyager couldn't have made it back to Earth. So in that future, they were still headed back 17 years later.

I'm going on the assumption that Voyager will make it back to Earth by the end of the series.

Why not kill half of the senior staff then? If you're going to kill the captain, make sure the Executive Officer, the cook, and the Ops Manager are placed in the same Type-8 shuttlecraft she's on!!!!!!
