Will there ever be a DS9 or Voy movie? It seems as Nemesis being reported as the last TNG film affair there's a gap between Nemesis and the first Enterprise movie.

Christ. I remember when they had an Alien skull in Predator 2. All of a sudden every SF nerd I knew was quite insistent the next movie would be Alien vs Predator.
Why should Enterprise be any more suited for a movie series than DS9 or Voyager? Who can state for certain that Nemesis will be the last TNG film? Enterprise may be doing quite well on UPN, but that doesn't mean it's going to be a guaranteed box office draw, any more than the TNG films have really equalled the TOS films which were able to draw on the public's knowledge of Kirk, Spock etc.

That little tie-in in Predator 2 was sooooo sweet. They should make a Alens vs. Predator movie.

I'm not saying it's better suited, I'm just saying if this is the last TNG film, what series will carry on the Trek movie saga? I also have thrown my towel in on a DS9 film.

I liked First Contact the best, even though thats irrelevant..
Voyager and DS9 weren't as big as TNG, they didn't last quite as long and they certainly didn't have episodes as good as TNG.

Er...taking that second season writer's strike into account, there are several more episodes of both DS9 and Voyager than TNG, surely?

If they make a Voy. movie wouldn't that be like the return to Gilligan's Island, movies. I mean surely the crew would be broken up after their return. Unless they stole Voy. to help a friend ........

Even though DS9 and Voyager started mid-season, they both quickly caught up with the average number of episodes per full-length season.
And if they made a Voyager movie, they'd steal or take the ship on some secret mission to bring Neelix and his new family over to the Alpha Quadrant.

Well I've had this idea where the Hirogen find a worm hole and threaten that they will kill Neelix and his family if Voyager doesn't give in to their demands. The downside is Voyager has been decommisioned. Janeway assembles her crew and hijacks Voyager (ST:III TSFS moment) and saves Neelix.
Another idea is that Starfleet sends Voyager on a survey mission of the Delta Quadrant because Starfleet believes that Voyager's crew is the best equipped for the mission. Just to be on the safe side Starfleet gives different checkpoints for Voyager to come back home. Voyager eventually meets up with an old enemy. In the end Voyager has epic battle with them and in the process destroys the first checkpoint.Thus, Voyager is back in the Delta Quadrant until they reach the next checkpoint.

The whole ship hijacking thing has been done, sadly. So to has the epic battle-oriented genre of Trek movies. And by hypothesizing about Voyager movie plots, we're only setting ourselves up for disappointment.
To be honest I'd like to see some type of series cross-over. Perhaps with a trilogy based set of movies, similar to what is been done with the Lord of the Rings movies, with some well-developed storytelling comparable to plot-twists in the Usual Suspects, and exploring some more over-looked aspects of the trek environment. I could wait another five, or even ten years, for such a movie.

Yes, during seasons 2-7, both DS9 and VOY turned out 26 episodes. However, both shows had short first seasons due to the late release date. TNG aired 26 episodes in seasons 1, and 3-7, but only 22 for the 2nd season owing to the writers' strike.
DS9 aired 18 episodes its first season, meaning TNG outdistances it by only four episodes.
I'm not so sure how many episodes VOY aired in its first season, since I seem to recall the last four episodes of the 1st season being held over to the 2nd season. I don't know if they produced a full 26 episodes for season 2, or only 22 and used the four from season one to cover them. So, they're either four episodes behind TNG (and tied with DS9) or four episodes behind DS9.
Anyway, assuming Enterprise runs for seven seasons (a good bet), it'll outdistance TNG by four episodes.

TNG: 178 DS9: 176 VOY: 172
Hardly a noticeable difference to anyone who's not a hardcore fan.

At least Voy didn't torture us with six more hours of show just to equal TNG - at least by numbers. In terms of quality VOY could never come close to equaling TNG - or DS9 for that matter.
