Has anyone heard any rumors if the original series will released in season box sets like TNG and DS9?

I think I read in the recent issue of Star Trek: Communicator that it was possible if not, probable but certainly not in the works as of now. Plans for Voyager:DVD far precede any plans for TOS or TAS...
