Hi fellow treks, I was just reading on another bb about a topic of star war versa star trek and I have question. If the Doomsday Machine meet the Death Star in a battle of titians who would win?
Just wondering and thanks

Well, at least you didn't post this tomorrow, ruining all hope of the future being a bright land of progress.

And while I post this, it's still 2003 here, so I can't ruin it either. At least not with this post.

Assuming no other ships and no running away, it depends on who's doing the attacking and the basic situation setup. If the death star saw the doomsday machine coming, it's just a race to see whether the death star can turn fast enough to shoot the machine before it gets within range. I'd say either could destroy or heavily damage the other with a clean shot from their respective big-ass guns.

Jesus fuck, this year really needs to end.

Just for shits, The Planetkiller would probably win in that, while it's slow as dirt, it's stil more maunverable than the Death Star.

There.

Now I'll join you all in eternal geekdom damnation.

If the Dstar doesn't Decker one down her throat, the Dday machine. If I remember right, it could fire at angles so it could shoot without it's maw being vulnerable.

If I also remember right, the Dday's hull was solid neutronium.

Almost as dense as Trek Vs. Wars threads.
Almost.

Well, we'd need to compare the Death Star's superlaser against the power of a Constitution Class's warp core breach, presuming that's what the Constellation did to thwart the Planetkiller.

"If the Doomsday Machine meet the Death Star in a battle of titians who would win?"

In a battle of the Titians, the winner would be Charles V with His Dog, because that codpiece would scare away all the competition.

Who are you and what have you done with Ultra Magnus?

I think he left himself behind in 2003.

The doomsday machine is a planet killer and remember the death star is "no moon"

If this thread makes two pages, I'm going to shoot myself.

As both weapons are planet killers, neither vessels would survive the first blast of their opponent, so it really just comes down to who fires first, the Doomsday Device or the Death Dstar.
I think the Death Dstar has longer reach, especially if we're talking the Death Dstar II.

Now, a Battle of Wits, Palpatine vs. Spock, that I'd slaughter good hens to see.

If Palpatine can beat Q, then Palpatine can beat anyone.

The shot heard 'round the world.

Not in the slightest.

the Planet Killer would pierce the outer wall, inseminate the Death Star and form a zygote, beginning to divide and grow. Nine months later, Unicron is born.

"There was a time I considered sparing your retched little thread. But now...you shall witness...it's dismemberment!"

...

That would be a cool way to lock a thread. If I could.

Damnit.

Posted by Nim (Member # 205) on :

Flaccidity notwithstanding, the only vessel worthy of carrying out penetration and insemination is the 1701-E.
Mm, yeah, take it like a bitch, Shinzon.

Also, the Executor, but that was more of a fallacy.

These are the voyages of the Starship InnerThighs....

Take small comfort in the fact that your dick jokes have not gone unnoticed. I do feel, however, it's important to point out that it's the Klingon vessels that tend more toward the cockandballs, whereas Starfleet designs seem to be downright fallopian (at times). Nacelles all akimbo and stuff. Park that shuttlecraft, baby.

Thanks Balaam: you've ruined Star Trek for me.
I'm gonna go fuck my models now...

I thought that's how the giant space amoeba was born.

Speaking of amoebas, Sybok looked a lot like "Bearded Captured Saddam".

The sad thing is, that would probably work as a website.

Posted by MinutiaeMan (Member # 444) on :

A quick search reveals that www.starshipporn.com is available...

Posted by Jason Abbadon (Member # 882) on :

And will forever remain available due to the unfortunately named "Starship" band of the not-so-great-80's.

...although I'd imagine there is some sicko that wants to see Grace Slick naked.

does anyone know the registry of this Starship Jefferson?

does it have a hovercraft shuttle named the Alan Parsons?

Posted by Jason Abbadon (Member # 882) on :

It was a failed project.

"...although I'd imagine there is some sicko that wants to see Grace Slick naked."

Well, to be fair, are we talking about modern-day Grace Slick, or, like, Woodstock-era Grace Slick?

Posted by Jason Abbadon (Member # 882) on :

A "Starship" era Grace Slick.

Posted by Balaam Xumucane (Member # 419) on :

To a beautiful woman, time is not nearly so unkind as we are. Could the Starship Jefferson take on The Darkness's starship?

Posted by Cartman (Member # 256) on :

Only if it was built on rock and roll.

Posted by PsyLiam (Member # 73) on :

Quite clearly The Darkness's starship is better, faster, and comes with Rock-on Torpedoes.

(Yes, I know that sucks. You come up with something better.)

Posted by Aban Rune (Member # 226) on :

See!? This is what happens when we let threads like this develop into their own entities. It's utter madness. And that gunshot wound hurts like hell.

Posted by Balaam Xumucane (Member # 419) on :

If we were to compare Marshall stack to Marshall stack compliment, Starship Jefferson would be severely outrocked. OTOH I've heard that the red octopus was a Jefferson plant.
