Winfield's played so many sci-fi characters but most of us remember him as captain Terrell from TWOK and as the Tamarian captain from "Darmok".
I'll miss his voiceovers for A&E's "City Confidential" the most, I think.....
Sucks.

Wow, really, when I saw the name the first thing that I thought of was City Confidential... I didn't know he'd done any work with Trek, no less two roles.
Sad.

I think I'll remember him most as Dr. Franklin's father on Babylon 5 and the Detective in 'The Terminator'.
Very sad.

Somehow I hit the "smile" face instead of the "sad" one: I wasnt poking fun there- I really enjoy that show!

I love City Confidential. Especially the tone of his voiceovers. I don't think they will find anyone who can replace him in sharpness and wit.

As long as the writers survive, yes.
