I saw this at Meijer today.

Full details can be found at the MegaBloks website.

Picard's looking creepy as fuck there.

I saw this in the Communicator (I forgot to post about it though).
The ship's okay I guess, but does not really look like the Galaxy much.

That looks like shit.

Have we ever seen the Hood and Picard in the same room?

I didn't think so...

What the hell are Megabloks, and why isn't LEGO suing them?

Megablocks are slightly diffrent, slightly larger and slightly more lame.
So technically, they're not complete Lego rip-offs.

Actually there was or has been a lawsuit between the two.

Megabloks is a Canadian ripoff of a Danish ripoff of some English dude from the '30s, or at least it is according to this.

Either way they don't hold a candle to Lego.

Megablocks are the same thing, they're even compatable with Lego. There is another Lego ripoff now to, but I can't remember what its called. Lego should be doing this, they know how to sell out [Big Grin]

So that phaser can be used by my Wookie Lego?

Posted by Captain Boh (Member # 1282) on :

Quite possibly, though Megablocks people are different from Lego's so I'm not sure

I sure would like to be sitting on the patent for "blocks."

I want the patent for patents.

Its called C3 made by Art Asylum and the sets are for the Batman comics and Justice League animated series. C3 (which stands for create, control, customize I think) is actually a damn sight better than Megabloks as the pieces fit better and unlike Megabloks, C3 features a hell of a lot of unique pieces. I know I'm starting to sound like an advert for them, but I own the Batwing set and its fair to say that they are almost as good as Lego itself. Almost.

I'd say, the best case we can have is to buy the model and canabalize it for pieces to use for Lego starship projects.

I'll never understand this fascination with Legos.

Don't knock it until you try it.

For anyone who ever doubted it:
LEGO rulez! [Razz]

And one other thing: anyone here from Ohio?
I'm asking cause I'm currently on holiday in Columbus...

And NO, I didn't bring my LEGO with me... [Wink]
