We have seen that in TNG, Wesley Crusher always saved the Enterprise, and in Voyager, Seven and/or B'ellana saved the ship with more than enough technobabble and the particle-of-the-day. So, who will be the person on Enterprise who saves the ship by rerouting the magnetic inducers through the phase-shift compensators to produce a triaxolating staic warpfield that will deflect the enemy's teldion based particle weapons?

Hopefully, the writing will be of high enough quality that they will avoid predictable scenarios like that.

As long as they keep Dr. Neelix (Oh, I meant Phlox) from doing that.

Spoilers for Season 1 Episodes$ $ $ $ $ I read somewhere a while ago (it was either Trekweb or TrekToday) about information on the second and third episodes of the Enterprise's season. In the second episode, if I'm remembering correctly, T'Pol and Phlox will be the heroes of the story. And in the third episode, Sato gets to be the hero of the story. So it looks like the "glory" is going to be spread around a bit.

Everyone knows that the Captain will save the day by stepping into the Quantum Accelerator and travelling back through time to prevent whatever disaster that threatened the ship. Whose body he Quantum Leaps into inorder to accomplish this task is irrelevant.
