In the interview, Zimmerman takes credit for designing the Enterprise both internally & externally. Does this really mean that he, not John Eaves, designed the Akiraprise? Might this also mean that the Akiraprise was NOT Berman's idea? He also stated that there is no secondary hull underneath the saucer, so apparently the underside of the saucer looks similar to the dorsal view. I was thinking the same thing when I read that article in one of the other threads here. The Trek news sources like TrekWeb and TrekToday have been saying for months now that it is John Eaves who designed the Enterprise. Rick Sternbach supposedly said this as well, but the closest we have to verification on that is a thread at another forum that says Sternbach told him that.<p>If John Eaves is not the designer of the Enterprise, why the heck has almost everyone been saying that he is? Same story here?
