Oui! C'est true!

Here are some screenshots of the S.S. Conestoga aka that colony ship from "Terra Nova".

The resemblance to the Sovereign is astonishing! Great caps, Harry, thanks.

I was going to start a thread, but I'll put it along with this since it has to do with the crew manifest...

The woman's name in the episode is Something Fuller, right? I'll have to go back and make sure, but I could've sworn it was Abigail Fuller. If it was, it's interesting because there was a little girl on the Quantum Leap Trilogy episode named Abigail Fuller.

If I'm wrong...beat me with a sock full of quarters...

Those are really cool pics of the ship. I'm amazed that they put that much detail into somethign that is only seen on a background display. Are we sure this isn't the ship from the opening credits?

I've made a preliminary schematic of the Conestoga:
Here!

I'm sure

that ship was a lot wider between the nacelles i think
If im wrong its because of the perspective of the opening shot.

On Abigail Fuller: at least they arent making Buckaroo Banzai jokes anymore!

It wasn't exactly a background ship. I mean, they spent a fair amount of time on the scene where Mayweather was looking at this information.

The body of the ship is somewhat similar to the conjectural Valiant model in the Encyclopedia, only the Conestoga's nacelles are further back, while the Valiant's were in the center of the ship.

Harry: How about a top view?

wait.. was that guys name John Smallberries?

I don't recall the last name, but the mother was Vera and the daughter was Bernadette, later known just as "Nadette". No Abigails that I recall...

Yah...I went back and looked at the tape last night. Sorry.

Cool Schematic.

Well, I reckon it looks quite like the Valiant as seen in the encyclopaedia and the chronology...

Now I'm realising someone else already said this - and when I read their post I was thinking Defiant/Valiant

Ryan: Why do you say that it has an 'astounding' relemblance to the Sovvie? Because it has 2 nacelles at the aft end?

I think it looks nothing like a Sovereign. I was poking fun at whoever said that was their first impression before seeing the caps.

Pardon me for being so thick I could not recognize your painfully obvious sacasm! BTW, who was the poor fool who said that for real in the first place?

I see the art of the eye-rolling smiley has been long since lost.
