$poilers people who haven't seen "Twilight".
Is the destruction of Earth in this episode the first time we've seen the complete destruction of Earth in TREK!?!
Actually in most Sci-fi series!?!

Yes: the total destruction of earth is rare. The only other instance I can think of is the silly Titan A.E.

B5 has the Sun go nova....not that we seem to mind much.

What episode was that in? So much for Crusade then, huh?

And I still can't figure out WHY it went nova, other than to hand us Third Ones an excuse to settle Vorlon Prime...

I'm talking about the destruction of Earth itself - not the Sun. I did think of B5 and Titan A.E.
And wouldn't we be 'Second Ones'?

Well, it was set 100,000 years in the future, so I don't think that would have affected Crusade too much.

Hey, I kinda liked Titan AE... You just don't like it because you're not going to call it Planet Bob. Well, you... you... Bob hater!

I think my memory was affected by the episode that followed it. Pain!

1. When Worlds Collide. 2. Return to the Planet of the Apes. (I believe....never sing in the Omega choir!) 3. B5 4. Titan A.E.
That is all I remember except for books.

Does anyone think they depicted the destruction of Earth well? I thought they did a good job.

Yes. It was both amazing and traumatic.
