Go see at Trektoday - Joelene Blalock has been ripping it through the 'suits'. Everything she says is spot on. This is no bimbo, as people make out she is. She sounds like a Trekker/Trekkie!

She also rocked on Stargate as the Amazon Jaffa chick.

Good interviews, the old one and the new one. I've been reading her previous ones, and she alwways raises as a poignant and thinking actress. Not necessarily surprising: being attractive means she's dumb? Nah. So far, she's been saying stuff other castmembers declared too: Under Berman and Braga the show had no real direction, no soul. And even when I like it, the first three seasons were no more of an adventure show in space. Coto arrived late. A shame.

I belive Season 3 had great direction and was good storytelling akin to the final seasons of Deep Space Nine. This season is even better, and Enterprise is looking more and more Trek all the time.
I honestly belive we have a good show -- and Blalock is right, you CAN have T&A with a good story, and I belive thats what we are getting this season.

Ye gods, TGL is still around? I thought they disappeared after ChrisH departed for parts unknown (i.e. somewhere outside the Internet)...

I think with Season 3 - Manny Coto would have been doing most of the work - it'd just that now for season 4 it's more... 'official' that he's in charge.
Yeah TGL - what happened there - I thought it when off line or something - it was the place to go on the net (for Trek stuff) once. Weren't the original forums connected from it in some way?

Yeah the wig is a definate turnoff. But i agree, in person she is far superior to any of the previous trek girls IMHO.

So I thought this thread was about Clint Howard, somehow, and was seriously weirded out.

If you want to see really bitchy - in a totally polite, you-have-to-read-between-the-lines sort of way, you want to read the recent interview Billingsley did. Probablky the most damning indictment of Trek since Beltran's rants. . . What is it with actors whose names begin with B? Unless they're called Brooks or Bakula that is.

So LeVar had problems? And Majel as well? Maybe Majel in the recent years. Certainly Jolene to an extent.

Well for a start I don't want them to have Shatner on Enterprise - it'd be shite-tastic. Leave Kirk buried on Veridian III.
Beltran's rants were just stupid crap. No one really cared anymore.
Lee, where is this Billingsley interview?
And wasn't that Blalock's real hair on SG1 - she's blonde.

For now
That is questionable.
Isn't this a fuck-ugly picture of her?

"It's another one of these, you know, magical gifts that Doctor Phlox has. Apparently Denobulans can climb rock walls, have long tongues it's all sort of, you know, a laundry list of gag features. But it becomes a bit of substitute for character. So there's a part of me that sometimes wishes that they would actually think more about the essence and the nature of the Denobulan society and what this being's world view is." Of course, there's also the fact that Billingsley is probably the best actor they've got on the show, and they don't even use him. You'd think that, even from the execs' point of view, that would be important.
"As it stands it stands it feels like you've taken two people who, you sort of, you know, were...GRRRRR...the whole damn time, and suddenly you've flicked a switch from nowhere and now they're supposedly [in a relationship]." I wonder if the "[in a relationship]" is actually replacing what it looks like it is...

Blalock certainly didn't have good things to say about the previous management. I saw her comments at SyFy Portal. I'm new here but how does everyone else feel about Enterprise and the former production team of B & B? Coto looks to me to be doing a great job on season 4. I only hope the show sticks around for season 5.

I'm sorry, I can't get over the first three seasons, even the first two episodes. Enterprise still sucks. And Coto isn't all that either. The Augment trilogy would have been perfect IMO to be the show's premire, but he put Klingons in it. Yeah, Augment trilogy would have been great for me minus that small part. I don't mean to bring up the Klingons to argue it for the billionth, it's just a sore point with me and many others who believe that Klingons shouldn't be around yet.
But, even had Coto done that, axed the Klingons, I can't forget the first three seasons, so it's doubtful I would ever come to enjoy Enterprise as previous Trek incarnations. It's unfortunate, he seems to be taking the show in the direction it should have gone originally, but the damage was done before he arrived.
