Deze fans bekleden functies in o.a. overheden, grote bedrijven, radio, televisie, kranten, bekende artiesten, etc.

Gegroet,
Kaplan (Hoofd Vertalen Nederland, TrekUnited)

The Babelfish translation of the post is quite amusing. I wonder if anyone will ever be able to produce a language translator that, you know, doesn't suck.

Maybe a "Universal Translator"? One that fits in your ear and automatically synchronizes the persons lip movements to the words you hear? Would all those B-rated Kung Fu films then be in synch? HMMMM

I could translate all that, but I'm not an Enterprise fan. Sorry. B)

In case anyone is interested, a machine translation:

Star keep paying fans to appetite television serial?

A month suffered it came reported from the Paramount studios that the production of the last form of Star appetite on television early is stopped. Star appetite: Enterprise, the youngest telg of this non-stop forty person whose birthday it is television legend, after its current fourth season the cupboard will go in. At this moment this fourth season on Monday on veronica is transmitted. Where at previous spin-offs were made up complete seven seasons ride at ticket, is that now not the case. By abrupt end there has been time still no a next create spin-off, because of this after forty years will therefore transmit pause of minimum three years to arise. Of which thinks a lot of that this pause weighs a complete stopper at will bring for the whole Star appetite legend.

This has been shot at a lot of fans in the found oneself throat breach, they thus immediate after the annulment bulletin of Paramount have outlined a campaign to turn the tij. In the modern times of present is it improbable that only ' alsjeblieft send letters ' to the Executive Board persuading of Paramount are enough. It concerns here, again, only money. Hence that these fans a heuse search action has set up to be able finance the fifth season himself. Think about this not too lacherig, in the first three weeks that the ' lines ' stood open there is already the strong amount of 3.1 million dollar gedoneerd.

TrekUnited.com are the hoofdkwartier of this unprecedented campaign. Time Brazeal, the oprichter of this complete campaign, has two aims for eyes; as first, the money at each other get to be able finance a fifth season and as second, uniting all fans concerning very the world. The second aim, the fans, is the whole strength behind this campaign. In the past forty years Star appetite have created the largest worldwide supporter club, of Japan until Canada the fans submit an application at TrekUnited. This network of fans is this way several that possible good result of this campaign is absolutely realistic. Functions in among other things governments, large companies, radio, television, newspapers hold these fans, confessed artists, etc. The mass here does the truck; three millions people, fans, doneren every 10 euro, which becomes then in sum already 30 millions euro. There is valued that there worldwide about fifty millions kijkers of Star appetite are: Enterprise, the potential donateurs therefore.

Will you prepare also is take part in this campaign?

The notion of a "confessed artist" is interesting. Confessed artists and known literary agitators.

(While I am 100% cynical of and mean towards any such campaign, it is maybe kind of too bad that there is not some middle ground, where someone could say "Hey, English-speakers of similar interests: would you like to get involved in our weirdo freakout nerd project?")

He's right, TrekUnited are a bunch of hoofdkwartiers
and there really should be a fifth season of Star appetite: Enterprise. So come on my fellow confessed artists and let us band together and fill our appetite for Star appetite and raise 30 million more euros. Onward!

I just question why anyone would post in another language (so that most of us don't understand)when everything here is in English... well most of the things here.

(Incidently, while fan campaigns make me scoff, I would be happy if there was a fifth season. That way I could both enjoy the fruits of their labor and hold on to my elitist sense of superiority.)
