Frakes responded with a tweet like "RIP to the best first officer."
I believe we are left with Shatner, Takei, Koenig, and Nichols, along with Whitney.
Maurice Hurley also passed away a few days ago.
As old as it makes you feel now, wait until the Next-Gen-era castpeople start passing away.

I saw that in the news today and I thought of all my old friends here.
If anyone on Flare lives in the Boston area, I host a Star Trek night on some Thursdays. We're gonna watch "Unification" next time. Hit me up!

I've had quite a roller coaster of a week, but always takes a passing to put things perspective. I was talking with my boss about Nimoy's death, and we watched the alternate version of Bruno Mars' Lazy Song video which featured Nimoy. That how I want to remember him, as a funny and cool guy. Rest in peace Leonard Nimoy, thanks for making us believe in the future.

I saw the headline and thought, "Bummer."
