This seems more like a rumor than credible news, in fact that's what some other sites are reporting this as, a rumor. Moreover, I recall Meyer talking about a secret Star Trek project for a while, which could just be a book or comic.

Fair point. I was gonna bring up that Romulan War movie they were talking about at one point, the one which was later made into a successful Star Wars movie called Rogue One, but per Enterprise that could've had Earth Starfleet folks in it.
