Can someone tell me what class of Starship Kang commanded in Voyager's "FLASH BACK" episode?

Well, welcome to Flare dude, but, are you sure you didn't confuse the e-mail box with the nickname box? Anywho, I believe they were just normal K't'ingas in "Flashback"

Thanks for replying to my question, there is one thing though that I would like to bring to your attention, if Kang's battlecruiser was of the K't'inga class what happened to the aft torpedo tube!? Kang's ship didn't have one.

It might be a variation of the K'tinga class ... most likely possibility, I'd say.

Someone Klingon thought, "gee, if only we could fire BEHIND us ... "

Here's the derriere of Kang's mount in "Flashback":

Here's a TOS ship from a similar angle:
http://w1.314.telia.com/~u31412329/ship/klingond7rear.jpg

Unfortunately, I have seen no shots of the rear ends of the cruisers in ST:TMP where we saw the aft torpedo tube in action. However, the "Flashback" ship seems to have at least *some* sort of an orifice in the appropriate position.

Obviously, the "Flashback" model is the TMP ship revamped for ST6, and I can see how the modelmakers of ST6 might have wished to eliminate the aft tube from what was supposed to be a "diplomatic" ship, a command vessel of some sort. The modelers of "Flashback" might have wanted to add something of their own as well. But it is equally possible that the aft end was not altered at all from its initial TMP appearance.

Okay, so here is the aft end of the ST6-revamped "Qo'noS One" K't'inga:
http://members.aol.com/IDICPage/TMPKlingon.html

The aft end looks quite different from Kang's ship. Then again, the rounded thingamabob in the Qo'noS One doesn't look much like a torpedo tube, since there is a structure in the center, obscuring the opening.

This could be a comm antenna of some sort for this "command ship", or then perhaps an energy weapon. Kang's ship could have a torp launcher different from the TMP ship launcher, or then possibly a mine dispenser or some other device. Perhaps all K't'ingas were built to accept a variety of modules in this location, according to their mission?

Still looking for pictures of the butt end of the TMP ship...

Well, check out star trek in sound and vision: http://www.stinsv.com/MOv/st1v3.htm#Klingon

As you can see, it has a similar round structure to that of Kronos 1.

Thanks to everyone who has tried to answer my question about Kang's ship in "Flash Back".
Like the Motion Picture's(1-6) Enterprise,is it possible that Kang's ship is a modernized D7?

I think it is theoretically possible. Then again, the forward hulls of the two variants are very different from each other. If a refit was performed, it probably included completely removing the forward pod and replacing it with a new structure...

Personally, I think that most of the K't'ingas are not refitted D-7 ships, but instead newbuilds patterned on a prototype that was refitted from a D-7. This would give them a little bit of added structural and design life, helping explain why this type soldiers on in the TNG era.

"Then again, the forward hulls of the two variants are very different from each other."

I dunno. Are they more different than the TOS Enterprise/TMP Enterprise, which had an enlarged saucer, completely different warp nacelles and deflector dish, and a different interconnecting dorsal?

PsyLiam isn't that little signature under your name what the charracter in Dragonball Z says?

Yes and Yes. K'Tinga in all opinion probably fits better in D-7 and then the Enterprise in the orginal design. I would guess that about 50% of the D-7 was still kept and about 10% of the Constitution class (this makes it easier but don't shoot me) Enterprise class.

Did anybody notice the chart laying on the table in the Klingon conference room in Star Trek VI? If I wasn't seeing things I think it showed the types of battlecruisers which made up the Klingon fleet.

That map certainly was interesting. Apparently, there were only K't'inga and BoP silhouettes there, but they were clustered in an intriguing way, possibly symbolizing fleet strengths. They *could* have represented externally nearly identical variants of the designs, though, so each silhouette would have marked a different ship (sub-)class.

I wonder if this map still exists somewhere in Paramount vaults or the bowels of Okuda's Mac. There could be lots of interesting stuff there. Planetary locations, ship statistics, or just in-jokes written in English but with Klingon alphabet. I doubt there were any new Klingon ship designs shown, though.

I'd go with the in-joke thing, personally. You know, maybe if they spent less time being funny and more time checking long lists of ship registries *rant8

Matrix: Yup. The Kamehameha was an old king of Hawaii, and also a move Kame-Sennin taught Goku, where he concentrates all his dormant energy into a single focused blast. The early TV show eps tended to mis-pronounce it as "Kamayhamayha" though.

There, wasn't that interesting?
