all the way to the rear.. in that pic it is hidden because the top-rear of the ship cowls over the door.. find an exterior underside-back view and youll see the big door-thing

But.. There's no door at the back of the aft compartment set. Just a wall, and no doors I can see.

Er, but you can't SEE the back wall, can you? It's hidden by the angle.

it seems to be a fold down wall-door.. like the shuttle from ST:5 or Type 6 from TNG.. thats why theres no 'door'

I'm not talking about the cutaway in the above link. I went looking for screencaps of the set, and they show that there's just a wall at the back - and an asymetrical one at that.

Well, from what I recall, there's also supposed to be a door in the forward cabin. I seem to remember Vorik coming in and out of a door on the port side.

I could be wrong.

There is most definately a door on the port side. Was it removed in Delta Flyer II?

The head is the tiny little cubicle along the centerline in the front cabin. There's a little door there. I was actually really glad to see they included that seeing as we've seen the crew on missions that lasted several days.

Neelix: "Commander, I have to...erm...you know..."
Chakotay: "Well, we didn't put a head in here...Just open the biobed and go in there. I'll have a crewman clean it when we get back."

Well where do they sleep then?
In the bio beds?

Considering runabouts seem to have beds and a dining room LOL.

Also, wheres the escape pod area and the jefferies tube that Kim got knocked flat at when the flyer engaged the borg cube ran by kids?

All under the floor I presume?

My guess is that there are pull out bunks somewhere or that they simply put bedding on the floor. Shuttlecraft frequently succomb to these kind of problems.

The escape pods are supposedly the little coffin shaped things on the aft sides. And one might surmise that there's a Jeffries Tube underneath the main cabin.

Yes...the idea that there is a J. Tube down there is rediculous, and they really should have thought for a second before showing one on the flyer. Some kind of equipment closet would've been alot easier to explain and would've served the purpose of concealing Kim.

My memory could be fualty, but couldn't that bio bed "close" up?

If so, wouldn't it shove the unlucky fool right out the hull or into the circuits of that nacelle/impulse housing? [Big Grin]

And for that matter where do they keep the generator that powers the flyer?
Yes Yes, I know under the floorboard in the J.Tube
where the spare tire is kept. [Razz]
