still a work in progress, but i am working on a sorted list of all used registry numbers, regardless of canonical relevance.

Bloody freakin' hell! You gonna have a key to all those colors and an explanation why there's a copyright symbol all over the place?

Some of your tables are a bit messed up. And I'm with B.J., are there going to be notes as to what everything means?

And will there be an alternate list with only the canon registries?

the tables are all awaiting reformatting.. i'm breaking them down into groups of a few hundred at a time, and the C symbol is the CANONICITY marker, i will be including a guide as to what is what
I'm including a lot of non-canon stuff, including many of the interrelasted fan technical publications of the 80s that i love so much, the FSRC was a poster created by an associate to the creators of Ships of the Star Fleet, it had large blocks of registry numbers listed for each ship design shown, without names. i dont honestly believe that an accurate view of the trek universe can include those wholesale lists, but i like to list them as maybe those vessels could exist, but in smaller numbers/ different forms.
oh and those jackill's guides really have a lot of stupid names and are retarded.. i officially hate them, with only a few exceptions. likewise for some of the FASA ships they gave stupid names to.

updated, by the way.. the many tables in the middle are ported straight from Dixon's nccs.txt file, they still need formatting, and i have dozens of files to include still, but all the framework is there now.

Good grief.... you might want to split that list up into several different pages, Mike!

You know, if I were you, I'd put all this in a database. Much MUCH MUCH easier to maintain, and it will probably save you days of work. And on top of that, it probably wouldn't be all too difficult to automatically parse Dixon's lists either 8)

Perhaps if you made some of the not nessy entires fade or appear when you hover the mouse over it, it would make you listings more readable and user friendly. "NCC-781. U.S.S. Ranger, prototype Ranger-class cruiser. Entered service in 2215. (Ship Recognition Manual Volume 4 [LUG TOS RPG]). An earlier RPG supplement listed this ship's registry as " if you could do that to the Bold faced text, that would greatly imporve the usability of your efforts.
BTW, to what ends do you offer this? Gamers? purists?

Now that it's already in text format, it will not be so easy to convert it to a database -- at least not without additional software.

i have neophyte versions of the list in assorted database formats.. collating them shouldnt be too difficult.
i've been repeatedly thwarted, however, from running any kind of database from my hosting. i must research the issue further, as i don't know much about running a database off my site, in an easily searchable manner. i've considered arranging a .pdf also.
