What class of Cardassian Ship is this? It could be a Galor Starship REFIT but I don't think so!So what is it? It think it's Kalen Class or something like that [This message was edited by Brown_supahero on April 14, 1999.]

Keldon class, but misquoted by Kira as Kalen in "The Die Is Cast", IIRC.------------------ "......" -The Breen at Internment Camp 371

Keldon Class to be sure, as seen in "Defiant".Although to readers of the DS9 Tech Manual this will come as news.... ------------------ An unborn scream burst in my stomach, and spread like cold mercury through my chest. I think The_Tom is right about the Keldon class. The class name is already familiar in "Defiant", but not the fact the OO builds lots of them. Nevertheless, AFAIK the class never turned up again after "The Die is Cast".------------------ Early bird catches the gagh. We thought it was bad that the DS9TM didn't give names to those kitbashes... They didn't even give a name to a ship that already had one!------------------ "I prefer much more diplomatic ways of pissing people off." -a certain anonymous administrator

Yup, the Keldon Class was a totally seperate type. *IF* they had been the vessels created by the Obsidian Order Dukat would have just gawked and wondered what they were. Not given them a name. I get the impression that the Keldon may be an older type of Galor, (long range variant or somesuch) thus the Obsidian Order could get them out from under central commands nose without too much fuss.
