A bridge at the very rear end? Why not, the boxy design was more disturbing at first, but now I like it. A daring design for Star Trek. Apparently they built a study model based on some drawings, and only after showing it to the producers or somebody did they find out that they had it backwards. Apparently, some of the ships were built first as cardboard and wood models that were then 'scanned' into the computer for 3d modeling purposes. <p>In some magazine I saw some small reproductions of blueprints for this ship (a top view, anyway). Does anyone out there have this?
