Take a ship, say the USS MacArthur, for instance. Would the hull have the letters the same size, or the a and the c smaller?------------------

Well, it...uh...isn't really a matter of opinion. That's just how ship names are painted on Starfleet ships.------------------

Actually, I don't believe we've ever seen a ship w/ "Mc-" or "Mac-" in the name. It's possible that they could make an exception for this...------------------
