Wow...there certainly have been a lot of threads regarding the Nova-class/Equinox here. Not to mention the S�o Paulo as well. Guess we get really excited over a new Starfleet ship.

How about starting up the Nova class construction project now?

You don't ever just build something first time and get it perfectly right, so wouldn't it make sense that Starfleet would build several prototype designs as part of the Nova project?

The good ones could become classes in their own right. Eventually we'll have most blinding good starship which WILL become THE Nova class USS Nova
