Like many of you....I maintain a starship database, mine being used for my club. I know that several of you have e-mailed Mike Okuda in respect to registry #'s or sayings on various dedication plaques. What I need is launch dates. This is the best way of determining a ship's age IMHO and determining what events each ship occured. I am only sticking with ships of which the bridge is actually seen, even if it's a partial, because I suspect that maybe a plaque was made as a completeness for the angle of viewer. Here's my research so far done by class:

Ambasssador
Enterprise-C
Excalibur

Constellation
Hathaway
Stargazer

Constitution
Enterprise - 2245 (no actual stardate given unless in it is the refit bridge)
Enterprise-A - 8442.5
Lexington (worth a shot)

Defiant
Defiant - 47538.5
Sao Paulo - 52559.3
Valiant
Defiant (possible rededication?)

Excelsior
Excelsior - 8202.5
Enterprise-B - 9715.0
Lakota

Galaxy
Enterprise-D - 40759.5
Oddysey
Yamato

Intrepid
Voyager - 48038.5

Miranda
Brattain - 22519.5
Reliant
Saratoga (STIV)
Lantree
Saratoga (DS9)

Nebula
Pheonix - 40250.5
Sutherland - 44820.5
Prometheus

Oberth
Grissom
Tsiolkovsky - 40291.7

Olympic
Pasteur

Prometheus
Prometheus

Sovereign
Enterprise-E - 49027.5

Soyuz
Bozeman

Sydney
Jenolen

Nova
Equinox

Wells
Relativity

Dauntless
Dauntless - 51472.0

Unknown
Aeon

Quite a list, I know. If someone could give my Mike Okuda's e-mail or make this inquiry for me...I would very much appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Don't forget the Seatak and Majestic from "Sacrifice of Angels", as well as the ShirKar, Vulcan's Forge, and Galaxy from "Tears of the Prophets"; I think those are the names...

Uhh... First, it's Valley Forge, not "Vulcan's Forge". And, second, we never saw the inside of the bridge of any of those ships.

Oh, and you also misspelled ShirKahr, and, arguably, Sitak. But, let's not get into that one again... :-)

Aha... That's it...

Anyway, isn't the Aeon more of a shuttle-type thing?

From 1986 on, Mr. Okuda has been largely responsible for the proliferation of dedication plaques. Before that point, there was only one dedication plaque-the USS Enterprise. The only class of ships to not have dedication plaques have been the runabouts.

Possible candidates for dedication plaques-
USS Enterprise D Yes
USS Tsiolkovsky Yes (in a corridor, not bridge)
USS Stargazer Yes
USS Yamato Yes (ref. Encyclopedia)
USS Lantree Maybe
USS Hathaway Yes (in engineering)
USS Enterprise C Maybe
USS Hood Maybe
USS Phoenix Yes
USS Brattain Yes
USS Sutherland Yes
USS Excelsior Yes
USS Bozeman Maybe
USS Jenolan Maybe
USS Saratoga Maybe
USS Prometheus Yes
USS Odyssey Yes (ref. Encyclopedia)
USS Pasteur Yes
USS Defiant Yes
USS Voyager Yes
USS Enterprise E Yes
USS Lakota Maybe
"USS Dauntless" Yes
USS Prometheus Yes
USS Valiant Yes
USS Relativity Yes
USS Sao Paulo Yes
USS Equinox Yes
USS Defiant Yes
