Well, Hobbes, unless you live in Europe, you can't get the Fact Files. They're a European Trek magazine (I think) similar to Star Trek: The Magazine that us North Americans get.

Well, here's what I know from the many times people have asked "What are the Fact Files?" and someone has answered them:

Apparently they are just sheets of paper w/ holes in the margin and you stick them all in a binder. The information in them is not necessarily canon, but the diagrams tend to be quite accurate, therefore they are generally accepted as "right".

They are not single sheets, they are small magazines, with about 15-25 or so pages. The rest is like TSN said.

They are actually a weekly magazine (I receive two issues bi-weekly) you have to rip apart and file in a binder (or one of 5 binders by now).
